Stamping with the Dragon Challenge this week is a SKETCH

This week at Stamping with the Dragon Challenge we have a Sketch and a Theme.

The Theme is 'SUMMER' and here is the 'SKETCH'

I must admit I do like using sketches as it always seems to set my creativity going a little bit quicker than usual...so here is my take on it

Prize is 4 digi images to be chosen by the winner

The image is called Penny with Butterflies and you can get it here, and while you are here don't forget to check out the grab bags, the June Grab Bag has some great papers and is a fantastic price.
I used backing papers from my stash with the image mounted on a half doiley with gems attached, finished off with ribbon from my stash and a die cut butterfly.  The punching on the edge of the card is done with a MS punch and the image is coloured with ProMarkers.

So Ladies and Gents, lets see all your fantastic creations, just pop over here to leave your link.

Good luck and Happy Crafting

Are we ready for Father's Day?...........

I am still completing orders, but should get everything finished by tomorrow.,
I have to admit I find this time of year a bit hard as it makes me realise just how much I miss my own Dad, even after six years I still find it hard, but when my Sons and Grandsons come through the door on Sunday to see their Dad/Grandpa, my day will start to cheer up.  I made this card with one of Stamping Dragon Designs word art digis and the sentiment is just so perfect, I decided to use it as the focal point.
I think the words say it all..........................don't you?
So to all the Dads out there have a very Happy Father's Day

Have a great weekend and Happy Crafting

My 36th Anniversary

Yes folks yesterday I celebrated 36 years of marriage.........(I was a child bride...NOT)
here's the card I made for my long suffering Hubby,

A little Popcorn the Bear image decoupaged and layered on some Papermania textured cardstock with some DP from my stash punched with an MS punch, finished off with a computer generated sentiment.

Had a lovely day working in the garden betwen showers and finished off with a lovely jaunt out for a meal at night.
Can I also say Hello to my new followers, you are most welcome and appreciated.

Friends......... are like a good bra..........

Supportive, hard to find and always close to your heart

Todays challenge at Stamping with the dragon is..............................

FRIENDS - Anything to do with friendship

And nobody could possibly find a friendlier place than here in blogland so we can't wait to see what fantastic creations you are going to make.

We are sponsored this fortnight by Stamping Dragon designs and the lucky winner will get 4 digi images of their own choice.

Here is my creation
The image is called Ruperts friend and is from Stamping dragon designs.  I made a twisted easel and the backing papers are from Pink petticoat vintage rose collection.  Ribbon and doiley are from my stash as is the sentiment.  Die cut is a spellbinders border with ribbon threaded through and the flowers and butterfly are from creata - the ones you heat and mould and are such fun to use.
All you have to do to join in is to pop over here and link your creation, and you have until the 24th.

Good luck and happy crafting

It doesn't have to be Mother's day............

To tell your Mum how special she is.......
and with these fabulous 'tickets' from the Dragons Den, you can make cards for Mum any day in the year.

You can find these images here

The card used for the background is from Pinflair and it is doublesided and as you can see both sides were used on this card. The decoupage flowers are from my stash as is the ribbon.  The 'tickets' were coloured with Promarkers.
