How apt .....Card for new baby

There must have been some unseen forces in play when I was making this card for Stampin with the Dragon.  And if you are unsure what I am babbling about then see my previous post.

Another fab design from Stamping Dragon Designs
I coloured the image with ProMarkers and set it on a background of blue gingham paper from my stash. Corners were punched with MS punch and it was all set on a diamond fold card that I got from Create and Craft.  I cannot remember where the striped backing paper was from but the sentiment was from my Xyron design runner.
Hope you like it and if you want to see more of the desogns then pop over to their shop. Don't forget you still have a week to join in the challenge over at the challenge blog.
Hope you all have a great crafty weekend.

Time for a New Challenge at Stampin with the Dragon

We have a fantastic new challenge at Stampin with the dragon and this week we are sponsored by

The 1st Prize this week is the winner's choice of 3 images and for 2nd Prize a Guest DT Spot

Here is a little about Paper Cupcakes

Hi! I am Nina May and I am the owner and also the illustrator for all the original images that can be found at Paper Cupcakes Stamps. Paper Cupcakes just turned a year old in December and has around 300 original stamp image to choose from. Paper Cupcakes also carries a wide variety of digital stamp images from cute, to floral to realistic. I feel that there is something there for everyone. I have a lot of fun drawing these images and I love to see everyones creativity when creating with them. I realize how much goes into our handcrafted projects and I have always felt that the main ingredient in our projects has always been love. So I say spread the love!

The Theme for this challenge is Birthday Celebration
So let's see all your fab designs

Here is my card with one of Nina May's fabulous images

The image is coloured with ProMarkers and I made an easel card. For the background I cut 9 squares of equal sizes from 3 different colours of cardstock (DCWV matt stack pastels) which were randomly attached to standard card stock.  Image is attached to a piece of the same pastel card and edged with a MS punch. Flowers are from my stash and the sentiment is printed with my favourite gadget-of-the-moment, my design runner.  Hope you like it.  Pop over to Stampin with the dragon now and see the other DT designs.

Good luck

Yooo Hoooo

Just in case anyone wondered where I have been, I have not been hiding, just busy playing with all the fab designs over at Stamping dragon. If you have not had a look lately, you really must pop over and have browse among all the images. I thought I would share a couple of them with you
This is a brand new image so let me introduce Yooo Hooo.  I just love owls and could not resist this wee cheeky chappy.  I printed 3 images, coloured with promarkers and decoupaged them. The background paper is from Papermania's birdsong collection and the leaves are die cut with a Marianne die x3 (there is a small bird on the branch but I cut it off) and the ribbon is from my stash.
