If you love sport then..........

This is the challenge for you........Yes it is challenge time once again at Stamping with the Dragon and the theme this fortnight is

SPORTS/CREATE A CREATION WITH A SPORTS THEME
                                                             sponsored by
                                                             http://www.kennykdownloads.com

They have kindly offered the following prizes:   3 digis for 1st, 2 digis for 2nd and 1 digi for 3rd. and dont forget a prize to be the guest design Team member. So, this challenge will have 4 winners!!!

For this challenge I picked the skateboarder digi, and boy did I have fun making this card.

The background card is double sided card and for this I used both sides of the spotty card.  The image was coloured with promarkers and the helmet and wheels were glossed with 3D gloss.  I just loved the skateboard so I enlarged the image and traced on to shrink plastic twice, coloured in again with promarkers and then shrunk to make the embellishments which I thought were so cute. The ribbon and sentiment were from my stash.
I really hope you like it, and the DT over at Stamping with the Dragon can't wait to see all your sporty creations.
This challenge will run from today until Midnight on the 26th April so you have plenty of time to join in, and don't forget there will be 4 winners.

Birthday card .....

For a friend's son.  I asked her what he was interested in and she said his guitar or football.  Now for some reason I hate doing football cards, probably because it is something neither my Husband nor Sons were never interested in, so decided on guitar.

The image is Kenny K and coloured with promarkers which I then glossed with 3-D clear gloss finish,  the CD was a freebie which I stained with Promarkers and glittered.  I downloaded the music note paper from MCS CD and the top border was punched with MS punch.  the stops on the card were an image from the internet which I downloaded and cut out.

Hope he likes it....
Happy crafting.

Get the kids reading........

It is never too early to get children to read books, it is a great way for them to learn and what better way to get them interested in books than to give them their own bookmarks.  There are some lovely bookmark images over at the Dragon's den so pop over here to see them.
Here are 2 I made.........
The bookmarks come complete with their own envelopes and they are in lovely children's designs.  I have left them quite plain so they can slip easily between the pages.  I have simply coloured with promarkers and added some ribbon from my stash.  These would also be a great project for children to do themselves and with the easter holidays heading our way why not get them crafting?
Don't forget you still have time to enter the Stamping with the Dragon challenge 'From the Home'

Happy crafting and have a lovely weekend

Mother's Day card

After making a load of cards for Mother's day orders at work, I thought I better get one made for my own Mum.

The die cuts are spellbinders, cut with the Grand Calibur and background paper is from a freebie pack from a magazine.  Petals are glittered with Pee Wee glitter.  Leaves and flourish are die cut with Marianne dies and the sentiment is printed with the design runner.
I am going to enter it into the following challenges
Allsorts Challenge  -  Bloomin' Blossoms
OSAAT  - Mother's day
Quirky crafts - Mothers Day

ITS CHALLENGE TIME AGAIN AT STAMPING WITH THE DRAGON

Hi to everyone in blogland this fine Friday morning.  Today over at Stamping with the Dragon we have a fab challenge for you .
Or Sponsor this week is
And you can visit their shop here

So what is the Challenge?  All you have to do is ......
USE A HOUSEHOLD ITEM AS A TECH:
 Here is my design
What did I use?  Well for starters one of my grey eyeshadows was used for colouring the brickwork on the well and I cut up a box (which brought me some crafty stash this week) and made a frame attaching the 4 pieces with brads. The sentiment was printed with my xyron design runner on to a piece of the box and cut and attached with glue.

So lets see what interesting combinations you can all come up with.  If you pop over to the Challenge blog you can see what the other DT members made, and they are all fab.
If you are not familiar with Stamping Dragon Designs, pop over here and have a browse through the amazing digi images
