WOYWW

On my desk today is my new toy which arrived yesterday and I am in love with it already.
My new 'GRAND CALIBUR' finally arrived.  I had hoped it would have arrived for Christmas as it was a present, but due to the snow up here in Bonnie Scotland I had to wait long after Santa had been.  However I had a play with it last night and I love it already.  Only managed to have one set of the Grand dies so far but I know I will use it with all my other 'normal' sized dies.  You can cut so many dies at the one time and the cutting is excellent as is the embossing.  I can see my wee bug going for early retirement.  The downside is that you have to turn the handle alot to get the A4 plates through, but if I keep changing arms when I am doing it, my bingo wings might just disappear.
I would show you the rest of my desk but I was so excited with my new toy everything was pushed into a pile so I could play with it.
Maybe it was a good thing that it didn't arrvive before Christmas or my family just might not have been fed.
If you are wondering why I want to show off my desk, pop over to Julias to find out.

  4. They say that good things come in small packages but this seems to contradict that little statement!
It looks awesome... do you do scrapbooking? I don't know if I would need such huge dies for regular card making!

  12. I did an internet search looking for your Grand Caliber. It has a lot of great features, that's for sure, like the even pressure. I hope to read more about what you do with it over the coming weeks. Happy WOYWW from #16 this week.

  13. It arrived eventually and was so obviously worth waiting for...you will have so much fun and you may still find a use for your old bug when your arms get a bit achey. Happy exercising and have fun !!

  17. Love your new pressie. I was wondering about all the handle turning. I've seen it on the telly and it seemed quite hard work to get the plates through. Although, like you say if it provides a good work out without going to the gym that can only be a good thing.
    Have fun.
